A former football player for the University of Florida and the Jacksonville Jaguars, Sunshine State native Titus O’Neil knows a thing or two about hard-hitting physical dominance.

One of the most imposing NXT Rookies on season two, “The Real Deal’s” hard work paid off on the April 20 edition of SmackDown when General Manager John Laurinaitis formally placed O’Neil and his main man Darren Young on the blue team’s roster. Dubbing themselves The Prime Time Players, the cocky pair are ready to prove to the WWE Universe that they’re worth the “millions of dollars” they says they are.

It seemed as if Young and O'Neil were prepared to do just that, defeating Primo & Epico and The Usos in impressive fashion on the Sept. 7 SmackDown to earn the No. 1 contendership to the WWE Tag Team Titles.

The Prime Time Players’ championship dreams went up in smoke on Raw the next Monday, however, when they were forced to put their title opportunity on the line against the thrown-together team of Kane and Daniel Bryan. Their furious foes emerged victorious, leaving The Prime Time Players hungry for another opportunity.

O’Neil and Young showed that hunger on the Sept. 17 Raw. They viciously attacked Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara after the masked marvels’ match, before declaring that nothing was going to be taken from them anymore. The Prime Time Players declared that, from now on, they’ll be taking what they want, when they want.

After being upset by Mysterio and Sin Cara in a tournament to determine the No. 1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Titles, O’Neil and Young set out for retribution against the masked marvels. They finally got one up on their rivals on SuperSmackDown LIVE in Birmingham, England. “The Real Deal” was able to counter Mysterio’s aerial attack into a devastating Clash of the Titus sit-down powerbomb to give The Prime Time Players a victory.

Young and O'Neil attempted to make a statement on the Nov. 19 edition of Raw, interrupting a match between WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No and Mysterio & Sin Cara. Their attack backfired, as the two teams launched a counter attack that culminated with a double 619 on The Prime Time Players and a vicious Chokeslam on O'Neil by Kane.

There’s no telling what The Prime Time Players will do to get what they feel is rightfully theirs: the WWE Tag Team Titles.
